Overview
Job Title: Payroll Team Leader
Salary: £16.80 per hour
Hours: 30h per week (Monday to Friday)
We are looking for an exceptional Payroll Team Leader who has experience in overseeing a small team, processing the monthly payroll from end to end with ideally local government pay and pensions contract knowledge to include term time working employees. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated payroll team providing a payroll service to staff and managers across our schools and our early years settings.
Personal attributes
You should have at least 3 years’ payroll processing experience, be able to manage and develop a small team. A CIPP Payroll Specialist certificate is desirable but not essential as is the understanding of local government pay contracts to include term time working and knowledge of the Burgundy and Green book.
